Peace and Wee Ones Make Me Smile

Today’s I am smiling. Natalie is here with Auggie. Monday she took her practical for her esthetician license. She needed a 75% to pass. She rocked a 96. Tomorrow she takes the written test and then they fly home to Washington. My role is to pray and snuggle our little eighteen month old. He slept in my arms for three hours yesterday. It is also fun to see Caleb and Auggie playing together They are so cute together. Auggie hasn’t been around a baby so he is intrigued by Mayve. 

I love that my kids kids and their kids play with toys from their old toy chest. Auggie was rocking in Natalie’s little pink rocking chair. Joy is watching my kids be parents. Even a few days with wee ones is a gift. We took the rv down when she took her test. That way Auggie and I could just chill in comfort. It was lovely. 

 The favorite toy is a clear Easter egg that are used as hats. This adorable picture was how the boys spent most of their day together. Mayve even had one on her head for a bit. Too bad Millie and Felix didn’t get to be here so we could have had a real hoedown. I am just treasuring this time. Wallowing in the snuggles and not worrying if there might be cookie on my butt that I transferred to the couch. But that can be cleaned and they are leaving Thurday. So I need to soak it in.
