Opening up a bit to share who I truly am. Yes, I am that random person who would delight in this nonsensical endeavor. Yesterday, I was shopping with Julie and was reminded as I walked past full carts of Ryan’s shenanigans. He would take something from one basket and drop it into someone else’s. Bad boy! How many people got home and scratched their heads as to why they purchased hemorrhoid cream or why they won’t get relieve since they must have forgotten to buy it?
Natalie likes to say I am random and that she loves this about me. What I don’t share often is how warped my mind is and that it is constantly imagining all kinds of goofy, inappropriate things. I blame my father and my mom’s mom. Each of them had that oh no you did not sense of humor. It is not something I can turn off or perhaps not something I would want to shut down. Life is definitely more interesting walking around with a mischievous smile on my face. My shirt that says that is a terrible idea, what time? Is one of my favorites. Although I stay appropriate most of the time, my mind is always chuckling at the off color thoughts that fill my head.
So when you see that little, old lady with a twinkle in her eye just know that she may be enjoying the thoughts in her head that she could not possibly share. After all, who is better at getting away with oh no you did not say that comments than a sweet, elderly grandma. Tee hee looke at me living a double life. Watch out I may have labeled your toothbrush with one of these stickers. Shocking!
In Him,
Joyful
