Special, Natalie Elizabeth, Tillie And So Much More

Tillie
My amazingly creative, faithful daughter.

Born
Special Wenger
named by her loving, generous birth family.

Chosen to be
Natalie Elizabeth Barber
when she was a mere 2 pounds and only a dozen inches long.

So how did she become Tillie?
When she was barely old enough to crawl into my lap for a story, I would tell her all the classics.
Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Bo Peep

I started every story the same way.
Once upon a time there was a little girl almost as pretty as Na t a l i e.
Since I dragged out her name as I said it what her precious, little ears heard was
Almost as pretty as Tillie.

When someone approached her at church and asked her what her name was she proudly stated
Tillie
Almost as pretty as Tillie.

As you can imagine this nickname stuck and makes her so much happier than
the ones her 3 older brothers came up with:
Midget Mom
 she was a bit bossy.
Nat the Brat
little sisters can be annoying.

Now our Tillie is an adult. A talented, incredibly faithful, compassionate young lady
that we all continue to love and learn from.

In Him,
Joyful
