Pity Party for one please. Even being here at the beach enjoying family, I can get that sad, whiney moment. Pure joy is so hard to come by. Once again I let my orphan spirit take over and I got my feelings hurt. Did anyone wrong me or try to exclude me? Nope. But I interpreted it that way and had a little Pity Party anyway.
It is age appropriate for middle schoolers to pout over social situations. So I am chalking this up to being a reminder to be sensitive to my kiddos an when I greet them next week.
