A day of rest is how I am spending this Friday. Yesterday, I was fitting way too much in my day and it didn’t go well. A fender bender is not the end of the world but was a wake up call for me to slow down. So one of the to do~s on my list yesterday was to go to the best hand surgeon around to get relief for my left hand. He found a couple of cysts in my wrist along with the expected arthritis. After two extremely painful shots I left for Lissy to drive me home. Glad I reached out for her help since I really would have struggled driving myself.
For some reason those shots went all the way up my arm and even to my neck and jaw turning my muscles into cramping rocks. Lissy felt my arm and the rock hard muscles that would make you think I was a weight lifter like my friend Kim. I came home crawled into pajamas and took sleeping medications. That was the end to my day. Today I am repeating the last part of yesterday/ I won’t be repeating my fender bender since I don’t plan to drive or get out of my cozy jammies. He said it would be painful and aching for a couple of days and I believe him. The typing to post this is extremely painful. But the reward of less pain due to the injections will make it all worth it. Besides I obviously needed to put down all the balls I have been juggling and just rest. It is a good day to read a book or steam Hallmark movies. This is a day I am looking forward to and will be ready to jump back on the hamster wheel tomorrow with a renewed energy.
In Him,
Joyful
