Bill and Meredith, while respecting our wishes for privacy, came up with a perfect plan. They left on our doorstep a bag filled with everything we needed: Dinner for 2, his and hers kleenex boxes, a 6 pack of beer, a bottle of wine, and a VHS comedy. Of course, they also left a loving note to let us know that although we thought we needed to be alone, we were not alone. It explained that we had the love of our family and friends even if we needed our space.
Sometimes in life we need to be hugged and comforted then there are the times we need to be alone, secure in the knowledge that we are loved and never alone. Having friends and family that can read you like the Lowrys is a true blessing.
Hope I can listen as well and give my loved ones the perfect bag of comfort in their times of need. 1 John 3:18 My children, we should love people not only with words, but by our actions and true caring.
In Him,
Joyful
