Natalie is 20 years old now. The last time the 4 of us took a trip together was to Hollywood when our Natalie was just 13 years old. Her Aunt Teri was 50 that year, so the 2 of them got their bellybuttons pierced. Bonding at its best! 1 of the best parts of the trip was the fun we had being lost and winding our way all over Hollywood and its neighboring cities.
This trip has given us the updated fun of getting lost all over San Diego while listening to the TOM TOM voice gently and patiently telling us where we are supposed to be going, even as we get more and more lost. She firmly and constantly reminds us that we are getting farther from our destination instead of closing in on it. To make it even more giggleable, before we dropped Natalie off at camp, she recorded her voice on a slew of the commands. So while we are laughing our way further into lostville, every now and then Natalie's voice pipes out, 'In 250 yards, turn left and get on the freeway, WOMAN!' So even though we dropped her off, she is still bossing her elders around. Being Midget Mom even when she is not with us. It is going to be chuckles all around for the next few days, with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
In Him,
Joyfully, with my sister and mom at the beach
