A list, I should have made a list. When you live an hour away from shopping and you are going to be 'In town' for 4 hours, you expect to get a ton of errands done. Unless, you are too lazy to make a list!
So after putzing around thinking I had accomplished all I had to do, I decided to go sit down and eat, ALONE. I must admit I have never been brave enough to eat out by myself. Today was the day. I went and ate at Souper Salads and read my Teach Like A Champion book. Amazingly, no one stared at me or pointed or anything. Guess I shouldn't have been such a coward for so long.
When I got home I was feeling pretty proud of my eating out accomplishment until I started noticing all the items I was supposed to have picked up in Santa Fe. Ugh! I just wasted 4 hours and didn't come close to getting the things that should have been on my list, if I had bothered to make a list.
Now I will need to start a list and make a separate trip to get what I need. Chances are I will write my list and then have to set out a search party to find the list. That is just the way I am. At least, I got my reading done for my class on Wednesday and ate like a big girl. So, I am choosing to be proud of what I did do and worry about the rest later.
And you know, I think I will start that list on my cell phone. Now if I can only figure out how to write a memo. 8-)
In Him,
Joyful
