Facebook Changes High School Reunions or Diet Companies Lose $$$ To FB

Newsflash:  Facebook drastically reduces the dollars spent on diet fads before high school reunions!
Seriously, Saturday is our high school reunion and I can just go as I am. After all, people who matter to me have been checking out all the pictures of my blessed life and already know that I am not a size 6. I attribute Facebook with bringing me closer to people I graduated with that were not even my friends back when being a skinny thing mattered more than the size of one's heart.

We are going to have a wonderful time and don't need to spend time catching up and checking each other out. Our time can be better spent hugging each other for the pains of life and high fiving those who have reasons to celebrate.

Most of us are grandparents by now. Just think the next time we see each other we will probably have great grandkids. Maybe we already know who is doing what in this life but I am so excited to wrap my arms around those who have cried with me and laughed with me since we found each other in this new genre; Facebook.

In Him,
Joyful

  1. Want to know what I found out when I went to my 30th reunion a couple of years ago?

The people who matter are just happy to see their childhood friends and connect with one another again. It didn't matter to me if they were successful or beautiful. I was just happy to know so many of them were still alive... Many were not.

    Love to you~
