To Cherish, To Understand, To Forgive

To be cherished.
To be understood.
To be forgiven.

For those in our lives to truly see the intentions of our hearts and love us unconditionally.
Too often there are misunderstandings, hurt feelings and heartbreak
simply because we jump to a mistaken conclusion.

How many hurt hearts could be spared if only we would consider
the other person's heart and who we know them to be in spite of
a misspoken word or careless action.

Forgiveness is simple yet almost impossible.
Just look past the wrong and into the heart.
Most of the time, others don't intentionally
hurt us.
Hard to believe when your heart is breaking
 or your temper flares.
But most value harmony and shy away from conflict.

Most want to be cherished and to cherish those they love.
Most want desperately to have their intentions understood.
Most want to be forgiven
even when they are too stubborn
to ask for it or apologize.

Soften your heart to those around you.
You will be the one who gains
as you love unconditionally
those in your heart.

In Him,
Joyful

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. – Ephesians 4:32

  1. You are always making a joyful noise and what an inspiration. This is a beautiful post. Have pc troubles and so slow getting around to all those I want to visit. Just have to pop in once in a while to share your wisdom. Blessings
