Get In Your Car = FAITH

Some people question how Christians can live by faith. In reality all of us live by faith in numerous ways everyday. What we put our faith in on a daily basis can be less than worthy of our faith.  When we drive down the road we have faith that the oncoming traffic will stay in its own lane and not crossover and crunch us.  We know nothing of the other driver in the car. Is he exhausted, upset, impaired by substance abuse, or even distracted?  Some would say that is not faith but it is. We wouldn't be on the road with other drivers if we didn't believe we would get where we are going safely.

Even when that faith is broken and we are crashed into by another car most of us repair our car and our bodies if necessary and get back on the road to put our faith in strangers once again.

Jesus is a constant in my life and I have faith in Him. He will never cross the line and damage me. On the contrary, He is the one who is right beside me when life crosses the line and collides with me. His love is proven unlike the strangers I encounter out there on the road.

John 20:27-29 Jesus said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side.  Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!"
"My Lord and my God!" Thomas exclaimed.
Then Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me."

In Him,
Joyful
