Getting my first cup of coffee and some quiet time at 5am
helps me be ready for my kiddos by 8am.
I am a better teacher when I get up and have time to myself
rather than getting up at last minute and rushing out the door.
The coffee pot in the teacher's lounge
is the heart of every school.
The place we all gather to start our day,
encourage each other,
and glug, glug, glug down our morning
sustenance.
First lesson of the day.
Fuel up!
