Simple inspired idea.
Take your coffee sleeve and rather than disgarding it, repurpose it to brighten someone else's day. You just need something to write or draw with to create an inspiration. While sipping your brew unfold the sleeve and design something on the inside. It can be a saying, art, or just a word to inspire. Then refold it inside out and put it in your pocket or purse. When you see someone having a bad moment or just someone you think could use a kind word, give it to them. Sharing a connection with a complete stranger can lift your spirits as well as their day.
Susan McCloskey gave me this idea as we were sharing a cup of coffee and reminiscing. She asked for my coffee cozy and explained why she wanted it. Terrific idea! Free, simple, and green make it perfect. She said she started slipping them into people's purses but that may a bit creepy for them to find someone had access to their purse. So now she just smiles and hands them over.
We all could do a little doodle to gift someone. If you aren't a talented doodler you may just make their day with a good laugh. Either way it is a win-win.
