Rolling Along Through Retirement

We have had the most relaxing, connecting visit to Washington. Although we have not locked down a venue for Natalie’s wedding, we have found ‘THE dress’, found them a place to live, and spent wonderful time with family. Tomorrow we are heading back home with stops along the way to visit more family and friends. What a luxury to be traveling in our little RV casita and enjoying retirement together. I couldn’t feel more blessed.

Someone asked me yesterday if I wanted to move up here since we have kids and grandkids here. The truth is New Mexico is our home. Although I love visiting I have no desire to move here. Our home on the park is our place. All the happy sounds from kids and families enjoying the park just makes me smile.

I do not take for granted that Ron and I have the health, finances and love for each other to make these trips so enjoyable. After 47 years togethe, we are still each other’s best friend and spending time together is such a gift. I love this man and the life I get to live with him. Perhaps one day we will buy a place in Washington on a lake and spend more time in the summers up here and let the kids manage it as an airbnb when we aren’t here. But for now rolling in our Prairie Princess works out just fine.

In Him,
Joyful
