BBQ At The Barbers

The lawn is mowed, the house is clean, and the burgers are bought. Tomorrow is the neighborhood Labor Day barbeque at the Barber's. We are having friends and neighbors over to enjoy the beautiful weather and each others company. Ron and I have so much to be thankful for. Our home on the park, those who let us walk through our life with them, and each other. Celebrating, feeding people were 2 of Ryan's favorite things. Although, he can no longer join us here, his enormous personality and generosity will always be a part of who we are and how we live.

5 months ago tomorrow, our lives changed. 5 months later, we are learning to live with this new reality. People are so amazingly sweet and understanding. Last night, I received an incredible silver bracelet, handmade with God's Love flowing into a heart. Beautiful! Receiving is difficult for me. It was breathtaking to receive this lovemade gift. Our loss has been sprinkled with a million blessings from the others that make our life rich.

Tomorrow will be a good day. We will enjoy each other and stay focused on the gift Ryan's life was to us. Good food, good friends and a day to look forward to. His brothers and sisters will be here with us to lift each other up. Cheers Ryan! The food won't be as good as if you were cooking, but we will enjoy.

In Him,
Joyful
