When I Stand In His Presence

I Can Only Imagine is 1 of my favorite songs. Standing in God's presence will be amazing and we have no way of knowing just how grand it will be or how we will react. I love the line, 'Will I dance in Your presence, or in awe of you be still?' It is not for us to understand the magnitude of God or his everlasting presence, we are just led to believe that this will be Heaven. Being with our Father in Heaven will be more than we can imagine. I rest in this. My son, my father, my friend are all there experiencing His love and enjoying the essence of life everafter.

Another line that gives me peace about death is, 'Jesus lead me in.' That is so comforting to me because I sure don't want to take that journey all alone. The sting of death is softened by my absolute faith that Jesus will not only have my hand but will lead me into God's presence. I don't like to be alone especially when I am scared, thank God I don't have to be now or at the end.

For now, I will let His love flow through my heart into others so that no one I love, no one God puts in my path will have to take that journey into the unknown alone.
