BLOOM

Wear your statement shoes, a shoe fashion show, and a lot of fun with a group of delightful ladies. Tonight is BLOOM at New Beginnings. My hope is for all the ladies who attend to just relax and enjoy an evening where they feel pampered. Lanessa and Darla along with the help of others have feminized the sanctuary of our little church and gone the extra steps to make the evening special.

Last November was the BLOOM premier and what a blessing it was. My only regret that evening was that I had not invited the incredible women in my life to enjoy it with me. No worries this time, with 10 tickets in hand I invited them all. Yes, I did need to go purchase a few extras since 10 was not quite enough. Some can't make it tonight and will be missed but those who come will be encouraged and delighted by the evening.

So now, I need to look through my closet for statement shoes. Seriously, I don't have any shoes that fit that description so it is not worth looking. But it will be fun to see the variety of shoes worn by the young ladies that are coming. Better them than me wearing heels. My red flats will have to do. Maybe I will get crazy and put on eyeliner and blush. That should be statement enough that I am still a lady along with the other hats I wear.
