Cam's calling

My son has had a calling to move to the northwest and start a church. Here is his letter.

Dear Friends and Family,   
We are so excited to tell you about the new journey God has set before us.   Cam has been so blessed to be interning under Pastor Pat at Calvary Chapel Los Alamos for the past 6 years, but the Lord is moving us on.   He has lead us to move to Lakewood, WA to plant a new Calvary Chapel!  Although we will miss our family and friends here in Los Alamos so much, we are humbled to be called for this, and so excited to see what He will do. Only a few days after talking with Pastor Pat about this and getting his support, he sent us an email about a course called “Fit for the Field”.  God proves to us over and over again how His timing is perfect!    This course is a one month long, in Murrieta CA, taught about church planting!  We both knew that this is where God wanted our family to be this summer, and that we needed to go.  
  We are so excited that Cam got accepted into the course, and his boss approved the entire month off!  So, the second week of June, we will pack the van to maximum capacity and heading towards the beach (which we do plan on visiting while we are there!). As our friends and family we are asking for your prayers.   We are going to need a lot of prayer!!   We need prayer during this month in CA.   We need prayer for safe ( and peaceful!) travel, open ears and soft teachable hearts, calmness & patience for all of us as we will all be sharing a room (including our cousin Rachael who has agreed to come with us and help out with the kids!).   When we get back from CA we will still need a lot of prayer as we seek His guidance as we sort out the details of when we will be moving, and everything involved in that.    
 The first step is for Cam to get a job in Lakewood, so we can get out there, so we ask for prayer for that as well.    God is really going to be stretching us through this, so please pray that we continue to rely only on Him for our strength!  Thank you so much for your prayers; we know how much of a difference it makes! This summer, and the next few months following, as we transition our family will sure be memorable for us, but we know we are in His will and there is no better place to be!  Thank you so much for all of your love and support you have already given us!
