Ramy Is Safe

Baby Ramy was just not in her bassinet next to her parent's bed when they woke up Sunday morning. How could this happen? We trust that our children are safe in their beds as we sleep. Thankfully, she was found safe in less than 24 hours. The agony this family went through and the peace of mind that will forever be shattered through this ordeal.

Combine all the heartache with those skeptics questioning if the parents had harmed their beautiful child. Yes, it happens that parents are the bad guys but we need to believe the best in others not the worst. Their parenting skills and devotion to their kids questioned at a time of such massive heartache compounds the agony. It is the same when a woman is raped and others question her moral code, dress, actions.

I thank God this 4 month old will soon be home with her family who love her. I pray peace over them through this ordeal and I thank God for the speedy recovery of this precious little one unharmed. Ramy will not remember this incident but her 3 older siblings and those who love her will never forget. My prayer is as the details come out on how and why this happened, each of us can have supporting hearts rather than condemning ones.

Tragedy or the fear of it brings us together and on our knees. Praise God for the safety of this innocent child.
