Back Porch Bonfire and Thrift Store Trip

I had a mini bonfire on the back porch. Figured it was time to clean out some paperwork. Google says we need to keep our taxes for 7 years so I concluded that all these folders from the 80s and 90s could go up in smoke. That was so much more fun than a shredder. But you know I was torching a paper trail of our lives too. How did we ever live on such low salaries? Oh yeah, the price of life was less back then.

Cleaning out is addictive after I burned the tax folders I began on my clothes closet. That is what happens when Ron goes out of town and I don't have anyone to play with. I did decide it was best not to add my castoff clothes to the still smoldering porch fire. So I lugged them to the car and dropped them off at the thrift store. Had to get them out of the house before I started second guessing my new found cleansing plan.

Next week, I may tackle the kitchen cupboards. But they are pretty picked over with our kids moving in and out and needing this and that.

In Him,
Joyful
