Plan B

Somedays no matter what I do I just feel off. Today is one of those days, not just for me, but for the students in my class and those around me. It is just a crazy, sideways sort of day. First, I over heated my drink in the microwave and made a lake. While cleaning it up, I dripped blackberry juice all over my rugs in the kitchen and had to throw them in the wash. I was cleaning it up because I always told my kids if you have time to make a mess you should have time to clean up a mess. My own words helped make me late for my weekly meeting at school. And the day was just getting started.

It is true that when I don't feel on top of my game my kiddos in class are affected. Today has been a wild day. Thankfully, there are only 9 days until Christmas break. Sometimes the best thing to do is throw in the towel and lesson plan book and drag out the beanbags and popcorn for a movie. This afternoon we are watching a movie.

Plan B is getting through the day. We will put our learning caps back on Monday after we have all had the weekend to pull ourselves back to a vertical position.

In Him,
Joyful

  1. Hi there, So sorry you had a rough day yesterday but I pray that your weekend will be blessed. I think kids, big and small, are all excited about the season and it is hard to work when there is such excitement in the air.
    Hugs, Noreen
