Best Way Out Is Through

Today was a Shel Silverstein day. His poem says it all.
'Oh what a day, oh what a day
My baby brother ran away
And now my tuba will not play
Oh what a day, oh what a day.'

Today was challenging but amazing. I asked everyone for prayers because I anticipated that it would be a difficult day and it was. The day unfolded in a way I never could have expected and it all was orchestrated from above. Looking back at the day I realize that we have to go through conflict sometimes to get the understanding and support we need.

Tonight another blip to the situation showed up on the scene. Now it is mine to rest in Him or let it ramp up my worry once again. I think I will choose to be at peace.

Thanks for all your prayers they covered me today like a warm blanket.

In Him,
Joyful

  2. Heading into difficult situation with an arsenal of prayer really does enable you to see in a different way, even if it was difficult the prayer gave you the strength to face the difficulties. Love it!
