Celebrate Recovery is here in Los Alamos. I am so humbled to be a part of this amazing Christ centered recovery opportunity. Since we lost our son, Ryan, to suicide almost 2 years ago, Ron and I have felt God's gentle push toward supporting young men and women in their 20s. So I officially took off my Young Life hat and said goodbye to middle school ministry and began reaching out to incredible young ladies who God placed in my path.
God knows who will be touched by this ministry to help all who have hurts, habits, and hang ups. This of course includes each and everyone of us. Tonight was the launch and already I feel connections with several others. I like that women and men meet separately in small groups and that after there is an opportunity to just chat at the Connection Cafe.
Los Alamos needs Celebrate Recovery. I need Celebrate Recovery. Do you? I am thankful that God tapped Tom Stewart on the shoulder and led him to facilitate bringing this 20 year old proven program to our little town.
