Yesterday Ron and I got the sweetest card from our grandkids. What a joy to have a homemade card for our mantel this year. We are beyond blessed with the video chats that allow us to be a part of their lives and their homes. They are most certainly a part of our hearts each and every day. Seeing Timmy’s lego creations, looking at how Kayla and Kenzie decorated their rooms are precious moments. It is so fun when Mom and Dad chime in from their cozy position on the couch to add something to the conversation. It seems there is always a roaring fire in the background keeping the chill of the Tacoma winter from seeping into the room. There is no certainty when we will get to hug our grandkids in person again. But for now we are so grateful for the distance hugs that keep us connected through this season of our lives.
