The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end,
But my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end,
Says the Lord who shows mercy to you
Isaiah 54:10
Too often we move away and feel like the presence of our Jesus is not with us. When the truth of His promise is that He will always be available to us and longing for relationship with us. Every relationship needs nurturing to thrive. Like a houseplant needs to be placed by a window not tucked away in a closet where we neglect to water it and no sunlight reaches it, relationships need attention to survive. God’s commitment to each of us is clear because of His deep love for us. He wants a relationship with us no matter what our circumstances may be. What a comfort when we spend the time in relationship with those we love and those who love us. God recognized we need community to live fully this life that has highlights as well as valleys. It is crucial that we spend time with others as well as time with Him. Like a plant needs light and water, we need others to grow and flourish.
In Him,
Joyful

Yes, our friends are precious. I met two of my friends at church, one in our widows group of 10 ladies, and one in women's Bible study. One of them moved away during the pandemic; sometimes that happens.
