A Flight of Flowers

A~Flight~of~Flowers

 

Yesterday I found the most exquisite flower in my Felix and Noni garden. I have been making beautiful bouquets all summer and so enjoying the beauty of the various flowers. But yesterday I wanted to highlight this sweet flower on its own. So I grabbed a shot glass off the wall and put it on my windowsill. Then I thought about how beautiful the other blossoms were and set up a flight of flowers on my dining room table. I have a shot glass collection from our adventures. . Shot glasses were a small, easy to transport memento. It was not ever because I’m a heavy drinker. But yesterday I found the perfect mini vases that I had right there on my wall. 

Now I am on a quest to find shot glasses at thrift stores and garage sales to give sweet flowers to people. I love dropping little treasures like candy on people’s doorsteps. So now I am hoping to brighten other neighbors and friends day with colorful blooms. I am so excited! Then there won’t be missing glasses on my wall.
