Kenzie’s Talent and Becoming More Like Her

Oh how proud I am of my grandgirl and all she says yes to in life. Kenzie has been working for months creating lovely jewelry, cards, and other unique items. She has carefully thought out just how she would display her creations at her high school’s craft fair. What a beautiful table she designed. She was not deterred when her choir concert was on the same day as the fair. Her solution was to find a friend to man her booth and do both well. Last night, I called her to see how the day went. She was watching a movie with a group of friends rather than collapsing exhausted from her schedule.

Makenzie makes the goals she has happen. She inspires me to set a goal, come up with a plan and implement it. Just sitting dreaming about what I might want won’t get me there. Hard work and commitment is the first goal to reaching a goal. When I let a minor hiccup to stop me from continuing my pursuit the goal can’t be reached. So hats off to Kenzie for pushing through the challenge and getting just what she worked for done. By the way, she sold so much of her merchandise and added to her college fund. It is good to see a young person, my girl, working for what she wants not expecting it to be handed to her. My goal is to be a whole lot more like Kenzie and her beautiful heart, smile and ambition.

In Him,
Joyful
