Long trip from New Mexico to California but well worth it to swim in the ocean. Ah the salty air of the Pacific Ocean. Hit a taco stand as soon as we got here and then off to enjoy the water. Paul, Cindy, and the girls beat us to the luxury hotel we are staying in. Ok, it is not exactly a 5 star hotel, but it is defiinitely not a craphole. Well, ok, maybe 1 could call it a craphole but we love it.
So this humble motel is not exactly equipped with the latest technology, or any technology for that matter. No phones, tvs, air conditioning, wifi, jacuzzi, pool, or ice machine but it does have an itty bitty shower and a semi-decent lawn courtyard to sit around and enjoy a visit. The family is together, except Tanner, who obviously found a better situation, and we are going to have a marvelously exhausting time of fun in the sun together. Can't wait to lay in the sand and listen to all the new friends and loves in my nieces lives. I never get enough time to just listen to them and what better place than lazing on the beach?
What a gift to be able to soak up the ocean atmosphere and be with family. Disney will be fun, but mostly I am looking forward to just being at the beach.
In Him,
Joyful
