Thankful

Lord above, comfort me
Give me  courage, help me see
Guide my actions, guide my words
Let me know, my prayers are heard.

God please take this pain from my heart. Help me to cope with the pain of never being with my son on this earth. Please let me focus on those who are here to hold and love today and tomorrow. Ron is so wise in focusing on the time we had rather than the loss we have endured. Lord, I just keep crying and can't seem to stop. I don't want to cringe when people tell me to have a Happy Thanksgiving.

There are so many things for me to be thankful for this year but my heart feels shredded. If only I could focus on my kids and grandkids and those who love and surround me. I don't want to be so sad and weepy.  God just help me to walk with you through this season.
