I Believe I Need To Listen

"Don't be so open-minded that your brains fall out." I love this quote! It reminds me of another we all heard long ago. "Be sure what you stand for or you will fall for anything."

I believe we should not condemn others. I believe we should love people unconditionally. I believe we all have flaws, sin, and pasts. I believe we need to tell the truth to those we love. I believe I am no better than the worst criminal. I believe I have Christ in my life and am striving to be Christ-like. I believe we must all yearn for the truth and share it. I believe we need to turn away from sin. I believe we can condemn the sin without condemning the sinner. I believe God knows and will judge so I don't have to make that my job.
I believe anything that separates us from God is the saddest.

"To know Him and make Him known." That is my life's goal. My goal is not to judge others or be judged by them. Yet, I believe we need to listen to those we see are in His Word, in a close relationship with Him and those we trust.

"Not for what I have done, or what I will become. He will love me for me." jjheller. He will love you for you. How amazing!

Turn to those who are your Christ given guides to tell you when you stray, when you are close, when you need to lay on your face and get back to Him. If they have earned the right to be heard by you then take the time to listen.
