Perfect Path To Joy

Tomorrow we are taking a rather long drive to witness the next step on the path of a dear friend. Life in her short 26 years has been more challenging than most of our lives will ever be. This sweet young woman has battled the storms with such grace. I am honored to be there as she marries her best friend and God's perfect life partner for her. Nicole and Randy not only are the perfect fit but since he is a Collins and she is a Collins she doesn't even have to change her name!

We all know in our hearts that God has a perfect plan for each of us. But when we walk through health issues and heartaches it is hard to trust that He will lead us toward fulfillment and joy. This wonderful love story is proof of the plan that God has for my amazing friend. The past few years have been filled with times of great loneliness and extreme physical pain. There were days she didn't know if she could bare the life she was living with RA and the betrayals she had endured. But here we are on the eve of her wedding to a man who loves the Lord as much as he loves her. This is a day she could only dream of a few short months ago and now it is her reality.

I am honored to be allowed to witness this next step in her life journey. A step that will be filled with hope and happiness that are so deserved by this incredible young lady. Better bring the tissue for all the tears of joy that will be flowing tomorrow.

In Him,
Joyful

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
