Natalie's Front Yard

I hope I am never too old to enjoy romping on the beach and frolicking in the ocean waves. Natalie, Ron and I have been having a blast just playing dolphin in the ocean. It is such a gift that our girl is living right here on the beach. She was raised camping here almost every summer and now this is her home.

Paul, Cindy and the girls drove down from Washington  and parked their RV right on the street in front of Natalie's apartment. We had a blast last night playing 'Fact or Crap' and enjoying the laughter of being together.

Briana remembers that the last time we were all together at the beach was the last time she saw Ryan. It still tugs at all our hearts that he is no longer with us. Sometimes I get caught up in my missing him and forget that we all lost our Scooter.

This week we are making memories of one more time at the beach as a family. We wish all our kids could be here like the good ole' days. Tanner and Bethany are supposed to come down tomorrow to spend the day and eat posole' with us. My niece told me eating Aunt Barb's posole' is like falling in love. That is pretty high marks for a young lady to give.

Just like our road trip with Mom and Elissa in June, we never know how many times we all have together. One last week of summertime fun before we all head back to our separate daily routines.

In Him,
Joyful
