Writing Prompt Day 1- What is my game name. Apparently a reference to a character in Game of Thrones. This is about who I am now not my past limitations or failures.
Annie finding her way through firsts and new beginnings, calmer of heartaches and heartbreaks, believer of Christ walking beside me through every day whatever the weather, lifter of others, generous in spirit, frustrated in political divides, remodelers extraordinaire, daughter of a spirited lady, fighter for drug abuse irratication, baby blanket crocheter, wife to my lifelong friend, embracer of friends as family, heart rock receiver
To explain~ Retirement and free time is a first and a new beginning with unlimited possibilities.
~Sharing my faith with others so they can make it through any circumstance.
~ Jesus is always only a whisper away. I never have to be alone.
~Embracing and including others in my life lifts not just them but me.
~My frustration is that we people are so polarized and fully believe we are right and others are wrong. Life is more gray than black and white. It is a climate of waiting to pounce and misinterpret others hearts. Like innocent until proven guilty, believe others good intentions before condemning.
~Ronnie B. and I completed a major remodel of our design and I helped.
~My Mom is in a season of decline yet her spirit and good nature remains.
~Drug abuse has devastated my sons and those of so many other mothers. It needs to end.
~I am blessed to have crocheted blankets and scarves for others.
~Ron and I are in our best relationship now. 42 years of marriage has grown us into besties.
~My friends are my family, my family members are my friends.
~People gift me with heart rocks just as my son did when he was alive. Gifted indeed.
This was a wonderful exercise. I know I could add another dozen or thousand names that describe me right now. But I will leave it here. Please consider doing this exercise. It was enlightening and encouraging. I noticed that I didn’t mention the things I wish to change in me. That was not intentional but I am glad this provided a positive look at who I am.
In Him,
Joyful
