FaceTime Sharing and Whoopee Cushion Antics

Last night we got to FaceTime with our sweet grandkiddos in Washington. What fun to see them goof with each other while sharing their Christmas decorations and joys. It is obvious that these past months of quarantine have brought them closer together and given them opportunities to annoy each other in the most loving ways.

Timmy enjoys tormenting his two older sisters while they all love hearing stories of their dad growing up. Last night we shared the story of Cameron sitting on a whoppee cushion his brother Ryan placed fully loaded under his seat in church. We had all stood up to listen to a quiet prayer and the silence was broken when Cam sat down with a loud bursting sound that the whole congregation mistook for a gassy situation. Our grands were rolling on the floor enjoying their dad’s story and his recalling being mortified.

It will be so wonderful to see them face to face and embrace them in long, close hugs. Until then I am beyond grateful for opportunities to share life online with my grandkids and their parents.

In Him,

Joyful
