Another angel made her way home to heaven this morning. She promised me she would hug my sister for me once she hugged her sweet son. God is good in helping us rest in the knowledge that we will all be reunited in love. My chosen sister was always secure in her final destination. What she worried about was the journey to get to this day. The degenerative disease robbed her of motor skills and her ability to communicate the past few years. She anxiously awaited the release she would have when she made it home to her heaven. What a courageous walk she took these past years of pain, Now her reward has arrived and she is living the life she has earned. God is embracing her and the image of them together gives me such joy.
To you sweet friend and faithful sister. I will cherish our times together, all the plants and gifts you bestowed upon me and will always love the memory of your sweet smile and bright eyes. I am having a cup of coffee and remembering our last coffee together only a few weeks ago.
