PUSH and then take a Step

PUSH pray until something happens………Being in limbo is the worst feeling. When we have a decision to make or when a circumstance is pending we tend to be more anxious. That is how some of my family is feeling. Waiting for a new job, a place to live, where to go to school and medical results causes us to wring our hands and get on our knees. When the path becomes clear, even if it is not how we wanted it to turn out, at least we can move forward with hope.

One thing to consider is that most things are not permanent but temporary. Where we live can be changed, medical issues resolve, transcripts can be transferred, and life evolves. Robert Frost’s quote The best way out is always through, is so true. Whether we like it or not we must go through life making decisions as best we can. Sometimes we choose wrong and we must change course to get to a better path. What I believe is that even when we have to abandon a direction, we have still learned valuable lessons from stepping into that choice.

So here I sit praying for sweet baby Naveah who just had her second foot amputated at such a young age. The stress of waiting for this hard truth was worse than today with the surgery behind them. Her sweet grandma tested me that her pain is being managed and that she is full of spit and vinegar. I am sure her mama and all the hospital staff are doting on her. Che’ is waiting to hear on several job opportunities. It will be good when he starts a new job even if it is not the perfect fit. Our cousin is trying to decide where she is supposed to live for the next chapter of her life. It would be awesome for us to have her close by but we realize that she needs to weigh all her options. Once she does it can easily be changed if it is not the right fit. But being in her own space is going to let her breath. Lissa is signing up for real estate online classes as she is getting used to being a new mom and moved states with her hubby and sweet six week old. Will Real Estate be the right fit for her? Perhaps, but either way she will be moving toward something and that is always a positive thing.

Life in transition is always more stressful than when a decision has been made and we take those first steps down a path toward something. PUSH Pray until something happens and then take the next steps toward a new tomorrow.

In Him,

Joyful
